Decent for the money
I bought this for a custom handrailing project and future use. Used it to cut strap, large angle and rectangular tubing. It did a excellent job and was deadly accurate but isnt without issues. First as mentioned previously the stop switch is impossible to adjust and I finally took the metal arm off and didnt use it.
Secondly I have had some issues with it stopping/binding and then popping the blade off. It might have something to do with my feed rate and not knowing what I am doing. I also blew through about 7 blades on this one project which could be partly feed issues and my fault. However I did make about 400-500 cuts too.
I plan to make some modifications to it so its easier to use. One is repipe the cylinder for feed rate so I can leave the feedrate set the same and have a bypass to drop it quickly to the stock and then go back to normal feedrate. I was always adjusting the feed rate up 1/2 turn and then slowing it down which may have contributed to my...
