Worked reasonably well
I drilled out about a 80 spot welds before this bit started to wobble out a bigger hole than its own diameter. It was getting dull and sharpening these is not easy. I just happen to have a slow speed grinding wheel (for sharpening chisels) that has a very square edge. I very carefully touched up each cutting surface, which included two cutting flutes and the two sides of the brad point. It only took about two light touches of the grinding wheel on each surface to get it back to like-new cutting.

If you don't have a way to sharpen these, then you should plan on using up one bit every 75 spot welds and order replacements accordingly. I used a slow speed drill and cutting fluid. If you dry cut the holes, then you'll probably get fewer holes drilled.

As far as how it actually performed, it worked great. I only wish it was smaller in diameter because trying to plug weld the huge hole it leaves is a challenge. Try to do the cutting on the side of the body panel...
