works but has significant flaw
It is a shop vac. I does suck dirt and water up. However, it suffers from a significant design flaw. This particular model does not accept the vacuum bags that the other models take. For some people this does not matter, but for me this is huge. It means that this vac mucst be emptied the old fashioned way, but dumping it out. This has always been a problem for me and I much prefer using the bags for simple easy cleanup. Unfortunately nowhere is this indicated in any of the literature. Indeed, you can even buy the bags as accessories. Hmm... Needless to say I am very mad.
Of secondary note is that it also suffers from the common problem of the vac hose being a little unwieldly. You get two hard seconds, flex hose, and and pieces. But the joints were things come together have a habit of slipping out of each other. I found myself stopping many times to shove them back together. I am seriously considering some epoxy.
