The drill and cord weigh a little over four pounds on my bathroom scale. That's heavy! The chuck will open to accept a 3/8 " round shaft. The chuck is the hand tighten type. The cord is six and a half feet long. 5.8 amps. That's a lot of power!

Fit and finish are OK. It's a drill. The controls are arrayed about the trigger switch. A lever for reversing direction of rotation. A dial to adjust the speed of said rotation. Choose a lower speed to drive screws.

The one fly in the ointment: Made in China. Most things made in China are not very good quality. The Chinese are GOOD capitalists! Cut corners and stuff your pockets. Time will tell if the drill is a good value. So four stars.
